And we're off...

The whistle peeps and the fantasy league season begins once more. I think the World Cup has jaded a lot of people as this season the Bengal Tigership is looking very light on teams but this of course means that certain people (ie Bhaiya) have a good chance of not actually coming last.

Despite playing FL for many years, every week lessons can still be learnt on how to optimise strategies for FL and these are my words of wisdom for the week: Do not do your fantasy team from your bed on your mobile at 5 in the morning before the season kicks off

This weeks awards go to:
  • Usain Bolt Award: Uma (BOO!)
  • New Season Same Old Poop Award: Bhaiya (*snigger*)
  • Best Team Name: ME (you know it's true!)
  • Lamest Team Name: Sofwan (yeah, I bet you thought it would be 'Zzzzzzz' [don't count the z's] but seriously, 'Fabregas XI'?!?!? Man, there is more inspiration in a single letter repeated ad nauseam than there is in that. Imagine if we all did that: Gerrard XI, Young Boys XI, Scottish Drunkard XI - see, where's the fun people?!)
Remember people: it's a marathon and not a sprint...

ez (FluffyKitten Killers FTW!)

PS If you want this blog to last longer than last season then comment like you've never commented before. I NEED TO SEE THE LOVE!

  2. How comes LFC have Arsenal, Man City and Scum in the first month of the season??!!!! It's all fixed I tell ya!

Every year I pick a team based on the LFC style, i.e. on paper it looks like they could give anyone a good game but in reality the players never quite cross the finish line.

PS - Aquilani, great buy Rafa! One season in, injured throughout and now being loaned to Italy! £20m well spent! Aquilani, the new Kewell???!!!

  3. Just been confirmed... joining Juventus for the season on Monday so that he can get first team football and regain his form. At least Kewell only cost £5m....

  6. And why isn't ur husband taking part this year??? Is he too scared of losing it? On that basis Chelski should stop entering the Prem.

Or is he too busy crying after yesterday's result???
